Our posters are downloads you make on your own device, sold on Stripe’s secure page. Refunds: 30 days, no questions asked.

1. What you buy

Each product (the Family Tree Poster, the Sound Wave Poster and the Crossword and Word Search Gift) is a set of files: PDFs in up to five print sizes, a 300 dpi picture and a phone picture, drawn from the names, dates, words, clues, titles and sound you give. Nothing is printed or posted. We draw what you give; checking the names, dates and words is yours to do, and you can change them and make the files again at any time. For the sound wave, you confirm that you may use the recording or the file, and any link you print as a code is yours to keep working; we do not host or check it.

2. The free maker

The maker and its preview are free to use. We work to keep the drawing right, but we cannot promise it is free of every fault on every device and browser.

3. Prices and paying

In US dollars, the Family Tree Poster costs US$12.99, the Sound Wave Poster costs US$9.99 and the Crossword and Word Search Gift costs US$8.99. Stripe may show the amount in your own currency. Payments are taken by Stripe on its secure checkout page. Any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live is shown at checkout before you pay. Stripe’s terms also apply to the payment.

4. Downloads

After paying, you make the files on the download page, on your own device. The download page keeps working: bookmark it. If anything goes wrong with the files, email us and we will help.

5. Refunds

Refunds: 30 days, no questions asked. If you change your mind for any reason, email us within 30 days of buying, tell us the email address you paid with, and we will refund you in full. See refunds.

6. Using your files

Your files are yours for personal use: print them, frame them, share them and give them as gifts. Please do not sell them or the service as your own.

7. Our words and pictures

The text, design and code of this site are ours. You may link to any page and quote a sentence or two with a link back.

8. The sellers’ licence

Keepsake Studio for sellers is a monthly licence, US$19 a month, to make the posters on this site in the studio for your own customers and to sell them the files under your own brand line (see for sellers). One licence covers one shop or brand line, which is printed on every file; a key passed to another shop prints the key holder’s line on their files, and we may end a licence that is passed around. You may not resell or sublicense the studio itself, build it into another service, or describe the files to a marketplace or a customer as made in a way they are not (the layout is ours, drawn by software; nothing is hand-drawn). Section 6 does not apply to files you make under the licence: those are yours to sell. Stop at any time by email; the licence runs to the end of the month you have paid for. The 30-day refund applies to your first payment. If the price changes, we tell you by email at the address you paid with, a month before it does.
